Assistant Principal's Corner

I am excited to continue working as an educator in the Enterprise City School System as the assistant principal at Harrand Creek Elementary and Pinedale Elementary. I am a proud product of Enterprise City Schools. I graduated from Enterprise High School in 1996. My educational journey continued at Enterprise State Junior College for a year before I transferred to Troy State University in Troy, Alabama. It was at Troy State that I discovered my passion for elementary education, leading to my graduation in 2000. I furthered my knowledge with a master's degree in elementary education from Troy University—Dothan in 2004 and a certificate in instructional leadership from UWA in 2021. I began my teaching career at College Street Elementary, where I taught second, third, and fifth grades for fourteen years. In 2014, I transferred to Hillcrest Elementary to teach third grade. I became a math interventionist and, in 2017, a reading specialist. I was the reading specialist at Hillcrest until 2024 when I became an assistant principal. I am eagerly anticipating a wonderful year ahead, filled with learning and growth for all the students, parents, and staff at Harrand Creek and Pinedale.
